Get started by selecting “My Optical Store” where your Eye Care Professional is located. Members cannot enjoy the full member benefits until this selection is made.

When making a purchase, your Eye Care Professional will scan your membership barcode located at the “Home” page of your mobile to record the transaction made. For every SGD$1 spent, 10 reward points will be awarded for Non-VIP members and 12 reward points will be awarded for VIP members.

How can I use MyACUVUE® points earned?

You may redeem MyACUVUE® points for ACUVUE® Rewards to enjoy savings off your ACUVUE® purchases or Lifestyle Rewards to enjoy a variety benefits and privileges.

ACUVUE® Rewards

Under “Rewards”, tap on “ACUVUE® Rewards” and select the ACUVUE® Reward that you wish to exchange points for. To proceed with the redemption, select “Get this Coupon”. Your selected ACUVUE® reward will then appear in your “My Wallet”, indicating a successful redemption.

If you wish to use the ACUVUE® reward during a purchase, flash your membership barcode on your home page and the ACUVUE® reward available in your “My Wallet” to your Eye Care Professional (ECP). Your ECP will scan your membership barcode, the ACUVUE® products that you wish to purchase, and apply the ACUVUE® reward available in your “My Wallet” to the transaction.

Lifestyle Rewards

Under “Rewards”, tap on “Lifestyle Rewards”. Select the quantities of the Lifestyle Reward item that you wish to exchange points for and click “Add to cart”. Next, click on the cart icon located on top right corner of the page to view your selected lifestyle reward items in your cart. To continue with the redemption, select “Check out”. Then, confirm/ fill up both your email and mailing addresses and click “Confirm Redemption” to proceed with the redemption.

Upon successful redemption, a pop-up message will appear and you will receive a confirmation email within 24 hours. Please note that e-voucher reward codes will be fulfilled in the confirmation email within 24 hours, whilst physical voucher rewards will be fulfilled via registered mail within 14 days.

MyACUVUE^® Home Delivery is available to all MyACUVUE^® members with a valid contact lens prescription in the last 6 months.

To support your eye health needs, you can only repurchase the ACUVUE^® contact lenses from your last three purchase records in MyACUVUE^®. If you do not have any prior purchase records of ACUVUE^® Contact Lens in your MyACUVUE^® app, you will be able to choose from a catalogue of ACUVUE^® contact lenses for your first ACUVUE^® product purchase in app.

All home delivery orders in app will be validated by your optical store’s Optometrist to ensure valid contact lens prescriptions, product details, and that it is safe for you to repeat contact lens purchase without further examination. If you do not have a valid 6 months contact lens prescription for your preferred ACUVUE^® contact lenses, you should visit your Optometrist for a consultation.

What are the terms and conditions of MyACUVUE^® Home Delivery service?

MyACUVUE^® Home Delivery Service Terms and Conditions
(updated as of 22 October 2020)

1. The MyACUVUE® Home Delivery Service (“Service”) is exclusive to MyACUVUE® members whose selected Optical Store is participating in the Service. To order on MyACUVUE®, you must have a valid contact lens prescription with your selected Optical Store and it must be safe for you to repeat contact lens purchase without further eye examination.
2. All prices displayed will be what your selected Optical Store charges and may be different from the Recommended Retail Price.
3. For a successful order through the MyACUVUE® Home Delivery Service, your final transaction value in MyACUVUE® app has to be more than SGD $0.00 and with a minimum of either 2 boxes of ACUVUE® monthly contact lenses, or 4 boxes of ACUVUE® daily/ bi-weekly contact lenses.
4. When checking out, you will be taken to a secure portal to make payment. A pre-authorisation for the value of your purchase will be taken by your Optical Store. This will appear as a “pending transaction” on your credit card statement. Upon shipment of your order, the pre-authorisation will automatically become a full payment made to your Optical Store.
5. If your order is cancelled for any reason before your order is shipped, the pre-authorised amount will be cancelled and no funds will be taken from you.
6. Johnson & Johnson Vision Care, a division of Johnson & Johnson Pacific Pty Ltd (“We/our”), may use your purchase history and interactions with this Service to diagnose technical problems and run marketing analytics to better improve our service to you. 7. In the event of any dispute, we reserve the right of final decision on all matters concerning this Service.
8. Johnson & Johnson Pte Ltd (“J&J”) is committed to free and fair competition and supports the competition laws of the countries in which it operates its business. Can I order ACUVUE^® Contact Lenses through another Optical Store if my preferred Optical Store does not offer home delivery service?

We encourage you to continue consulting with your current Optometrist on your eye care needs. The home delivery feature would be gradually rolled out to more optical stores in due course and we thank you for your patience. If your preferred Optical Store is not participating in MyACUVUE^® Home Delivery, we recommend calling or visiting your preferred Optical Store who can place an order on your behalf and have your ACUVUE^® contact lenses delivered to your door.

Am I allowed to place an order through my account on behalf of someone else?

We do not endorse placing orders on behalf of someone else. For any family member or friend that is replenishing their contact lenses, we recommend they download MyACUVUE^® for themselves, as each contact lens wearer's eye health, needs and prescriptions may vary.

A valid contact lens prescription is required for each ACUVUE^® contact lens order. Your registered optical store will need to verify the validity of your contact lens prescription and approve each order that you place through MyACUVUE^® Home Delivery Service.

On the order page, you will be able to see your last three ACUVUE^® Contact Lens purchase records in MyACUVUE^® where you may easily re-order your favorite ACUVUE^® products. Your last contact lens prescription will be pre-populated in the order form for your verification. Your order will then be validated by your optical store’s Optometrist to ensure the contact lens prescription is valid, product details are correct, and that it is safe for you to repeat contact lens purchase without further examination. If in doubt of your contact lens prescription details, please contact your Optometrist.

For members without any prior purchase records of ACUVUE^®Contact Lens in MyACUVUE^®, you will be able to choose from a catalogue of ACUVUE^® contact lenses for your first ACUVUE^® product purchase in app. Your Home Delivery order will be required to be validated and approved by your Optical Store’s Optometrist to ensure valid contact lens prescriptions, product details and that it is safe for you to repeat contact lens purchase without further examination. If you do not have a valid 6 months contact lens prescription for your preferred ACUVUE^® contact lenses, please visit your Optical Store’s Optometrist for a consultation.

Why is it necessary to confirm my prescription validity?

According to the guidelines from the Health Sciences Authority (HSA) and Optometrists and Opticians Board (OOB) of Singapore:

(i) Contact lenses are medical devices that can only be prescribed by a contact lens practitioner

(ii) A contact lens prescription is valid for 6 months only

As a result, it is important that you visit your Optometrist every 6 months for a contact lens prescription and to renew your contact lens prescription prior to replenishing your contact lenses.

I only see products relating to my previous purchase. Am I allowed to purchase other products which are not from my previous purchase?

MyACUVUE^® Home Delivery is designed for the purpose of replenishing your previous orders.

For members with prior purchase records of ACUVUE^® Contact Lenses in MyACUVUE^®, you will only be able to purchase products from your last transactions recorded in app. For other products which are not from your previous purchase records in app, please visit your Optical Store for consultation.

For members without any prior purchase records of ACUVUE^® Contact Lenses in MyACUVUE^®, you will be shown a product catalogue to order ACUVUE^® contact lenses of your choice as long as your submitted order is validated and approved by your Optical Store’s Optometrist. This is to ensure you have a valid contact lens prescription for the product details that you have ordered, and that it is safe for you to repeat contact lens purchase without further examination.

Are prices listed on MyACUVUE^® Home Delivery the final price? Are there vouchers available for deduction of the price?

We display the recommended retail price from your store on the MyACUVUE^® Home Delivery order page. If you have cash vouchers present in your MyACUVUE^® wallet, they may be applied at the order confirmation page for additional discounts. However, bonus points vouchers available in your MyACUVUE^® wallet are currently not applicable for use in Home Delivery orders. We are working hard to include the application of bonus points vouchers in the future.

Please note that the final order amount after discounts must be at least SGD $0.01 and there is a maximum quantity of 8 cash vouchers that can be applied in a single Home Delivery order.

Fiserv is a credit card payment facility provider. They ensure that payments made by patients to the Optical store are handled securely and safely. No monies transit through Johnson & Johnson. When a patient enters their credit card details, they do so on a secure Fiserv-run page that is fully encrypted and secure. Mastercard, Visa and UnionPay cards are accepted.

First Data is a global payment processing company and provider of electronic commerce and payment solutions to financial institutions and merchants around the globe. They have a long history and presence across Asia Pacific.

When you place your order, a “Hold” for the value of your transaction is placed on your card (this is otherwise known as a “pre-authorisation”). This will appear as a “pending” transaction on your card statement. Your Optometrist is then asked to validate the order to ensure you are receiving the correct order for your prescription. Once your order has been assigned to ship from our warehouse to your door, the ‘Hold’ will be released for processing.

If your order is cancelled, the “Hold” is cancelled, and amount is released back to you.

To check for your patients’ order statuses, you may:

(1) Enter MyACUVUE^® app
(2) Tap on the menu bar located at the top left corner
(3) Select ‘My Order History’ to view your current order status

Here are the possible statuses which would be displayed in your app:

Pending your optical store review – Your order has been placed, and the payment is currently on hold. This order is now pending the approval from your optical store.

Bi-weekly Reusable lenses are reused for two weeks and require cleaning and disinfection every day. Some lenses are approved for even longer wearing periods. However, a shorter wear cycle and more frequent use of fresh lenses, is more comfortable.

This depends on the recommendation of your Eye Care Professional. LASIK surgery permanently alters the shape of your eye, but doesn’t prevent the development of presbyopia, so you’ll still need vision correction at some point.

The new packaging reflects a mandatory regulatory compliance regulation and rebranding effort by Johnson & Johnson. The lenses inside remain the same high-quality products as we follow the same manufacturer's protocols. Although users may perceive differences due to the placebo effect with the new packaging, rest assured that the contact lenses and packing solution themselves remain unchanged.

Why was the ® trademark symbol removed from the names “Moist” and “Oasys”?

A ® can only be used in countries where we have a trademark registration. So, even where we have cleared, and approved use of a brand, and even where there may be a pending trademark application, the ® cannot be used. Therefore, in order to avoid the potential of improper use of a ® if packaging or other assets are used in a market whether ACUVUE MOIST is not registered, only mark ACUVUE, e.g. ACUVUE® MOIST or ACUVUE® OASYS.

No. All our contact lenses are either made in Jacksonville, Florida, USA or Limerick, Ireland. The Jacksonville facility manufactures the vast majority of all US distributed lenses.
