Dry Eyes
Dry eyes can arise from many causes. Sometimes it can be due to the environment, such as air-conditioned rooms or wile travelling on an airplane. If symptoms persist, see your optometrist for a comprehensive eye health check.
Seeing haloes around light
Seeing haloes around lights is annoying and potentially dangerous when driving. Sometimes haloes are more prominent if you have uncorrected astigmatism. When was the last time your had your eyes checked? If symptoms persist, see your optometrist for a comprehensive eye health check.
Gritty Eyes
Staring at a screen for etrended periods of time without a break can cause gritty eyes. Step away for a few seconds to stare of into the distance. Have a visual reminder to remember to blink- you would be amazed at how little we blink our eyes when using computers! You can also moisten your eyes with eye drops and to flush out dirt.
Tired Eyes
You may experience tired eyes from activities like reading for long periods, taking long drives without a break or working in an encironment with very bright or low lighting conditions. Try the 20-20-20 rule. Look away from yrou screen every 20 minutes or so, out of a window or somewhere far away (at least 20 feet) for at least 20 seconds.
Red Eyes
Red eyes could be a symptom of lack of sleep, overworking or sun damage from not wearing sunglasses over the years. Give your eyes the rest they need by getting enough sleep.
