ACUVUE® OASYS™ FOR ASTIGMATISM is the only fortnightly lens developed for astigmats. Built with Accelerated Stabilisation Design (ASD) and the properties of ACUVUE® OASYS™, it offers crisp vision and superior comfort for long hours at the computer.

What is astigmatism?

Astigmatism is caused by an irregularly-shaped cornea which results in blurred vision of near and distant objects. Spending long hours in front of a PC or TV screen3 also contributes to astigmatism. Uncorrected astigmatism is also often associated with eyestrains and headaches.

Do I suffer from astigmatism?

Astigmatism is usually diagnosed by an Eye Care Professional. The following diagram is one of the tools an Eye Care Professional may use to detect astigmatism.

If some of the lines appear lighter than the others, you might have astigmatism.

  † UV-blocking contact lenses help provide protection against harmful UV radiation. However, clinical studies have not been done to demonstrate that wearing UV-blocking contact lenses reduces the risk of developing cataracts or other eye disorders.
