Astigmatism is a condition in which the cornea (the clear covering of the front of the eye) is curved differently, leading to blurred vision. Astigmatism causes people to have blurred vision at all distances and can occur together with short-sightedness or long-sightedness.

Astigmatism causes blurred vision, which may result in problems like headaches and tired eyes2. While these problems may not necessarily be the result of astigmatism, it is advisable that you correct your astigmatism so that you can enhance your daily performance. Astigmatism can be diagnosed by your optometrist or eye specialist, who will conduct an eye examination to fully assess the extent of the problem.
